Featured Guest on NPR

Dawn Combs of Mockingbird Meadows spoke as a featured guest on All Sides with Ann Fisher. The nationally aired show provided a panel discussion about continued problems with honeybee colony losses. Mockingbird Meadows provided a viewpoint for sustainable beekeeping and the improved results obtained by focusing on the health of the honeybee and using management practices that limit exposure to chemicals and other stressors.

Mockingbird Hosts Bee Sanctuary Event

In conjunction with Whole Foods and Edible Columbus, Mockingbird Meadows hosted a fundraising event for the non-profit Spikenard Farm Honeybee Sanctuary in Floyd, Virginia. Noted biodynamic beekeeper Gunther Hauk spent the evening touring the farm and speaking to attendees about the plight of the honeybee and its importance in all our lives.
